About Us
The name comes from an old English term "rosie lee" meaning a cup of tea.
Rosie Lee High Tea is owned and operated by myself, Rebecca Cossgrove, a professional chef and florist. I have a husband, Michael, who is school teacher and two daughters, Alicia and Esther.
Rosie Lee is committed to giving you a high tea to remember that is to the highest standard.
I'm very motivated by a strong sense of community and bringing people together where they are the most comfortable, in their home and that of their friends.
FAQ's
What areas do we travel to? All the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie region. I will go to the surrounding areas but there will be an additional charge.
Do you provide for special dietary needs? Yes I do. If I'm informed in advance, I can prepare food that suits most dietary requirements, for example, gluten free and vegetarian.
What if there is no oven at my location? If your event is in the park or somewhere without an oven I can adjust the menu to take out the hot food and replace it with cold treats that will be just as delicious.
Do you provide tables and chairs? I don't provide tables but for an extra charge I can supply you with up to 20 white folding chairs.
How much notice do you need? For events under 20 people two weeks notice is enough but for large events I will need three to four weeks at the least.
Do you provide champagne? If you would like to serve your guests champagne or any other alcohol, you will have to provide and serve it yourself.
